Bad Weather Arrangement

Arrangement of Classes

Classes will be cancelled when Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted. All classes in progress will be suspended immediately.

When Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above Hoisted	Arrangement
Between 6:15 a.m. & 11:00 a.m.	Classes with commencement time before 1:00 p.m. will be cancelled. (Example: a 2-hour class which runs from 12:30 p.m. to 2:20 p.m. will be cancelled.)
Between 11:00 a.m. & 3:00 p.m.	Classes with commencement time before 6:00 p.m. will be cancelled. (Example: a 2-hour class which runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:20 p.m. will be cancelled.)
After 3:00 p.m.	Classes with commencement time after 3:00 p.m. will be cancelled.

If an "Amber" or "Red" Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force before office hours, students are expected to come to classes provided that it is permissible under the prevailing traffic and weather conditions.

If an "Amber" or "Red" Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued in the middle of the day, classes will continue and offices will remain open.

Classes will be cancelled if "Black" Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force. All classes in progress will be suspended immediately.

When "Black" Rainstorm Warning Signal Issued	Arrangement
Between 6:15 a.m. & 11:00 a.m.	Classes with commencement time before 1:00 p.m. will be cancelled. (Example: a 2-hour class which runs from 12:30 p.m. to 2:20 p.m. will be cancelled.)
Between 11:00 a.m. & 3:00 p.m.	Classes with commencement time before 6:00 p.m. will be cancelled. (Example: a 2-hour class which runs from 12:30 p.m. to 2:20 p.m. will be cancelled.)
After 3:00 p.m.	Classes with commencement time after 3:00 p.m. will be cancelled.
