Change of Study Programmes

Non-final year students from all programmes (with exception of BBA students) may apply for change of study programme from 2 to 30 April, 2012.
For BBA students, the deadline is as follows:
- Year 1 students applying for change of study programme within the BBA programme, the deadline is 12 April;
- Year 1 students applying for change of study programme outside the BBA programme, the deadline is 30 April;
- Year 2 students applying for change of study programme within or outside the BBA programme, the deadline is 30 April.
Students have to fill out an application form and submit it to the Academic Registry (Undergraduate Studies Section), together with an application fee of HK$300, on or before the above deadlines. Late application will not be considered.

Non-final year students; and
Students who have attained a cumulative GPA of not less than 2.0 in their studies; and
Students who have met the admission requirements of the study programme that he/she applies for.
A student is allowed to change study programme once throughout their undergraduate studies.

Approval for change of study programme from Deans, Programme Directors or Department/Programme Heads of both current & new study programme is required.
The change of study programme, if approved, will take effect in the next academic year.
All courses completed will be transferred to the new study programme and they will be included in the GPA calculation and final honours classification upon student's graduation. Some of these courses taken, if relevant to the new study programme, will be counted towards the graduation requirements.
Result of the application will be sent to the applicant in writing no later than the end of July.
