Information for Non-local Students Visa Application

Your visa / entry permit label for studying in Hong Kong issued by the Immigration Department of the HKSAR is normally on a yearly basis or in accordance with the duration of your studies (whichever is shorter).

If you will continue to pursue full-times studies in the coming academic year, then you should apply for extension of stay to study in Hong Kong within 4 weeks before the limit of stay expires. The detailed application procedure will be sent to you via email in early May every year.

For more information about the entry arrangement for study, you may visit the website at http://www.immd.gov.hk/ehtml/hkvisas_study.htm.

Please contact the Immigration Department by enquiry hotline at (852) 2824 6111 or by fax at (852) 2877 7711; or visit the Immigration Department's homepage.
