Awards from/Participation in International/National/Regional Competitions or Achievements in Local Competitions
-
Awards from/Participation in Other Local Competitions/Inter-School Competitions or Key Positions Held Demonstrating Leadership

-
have chosen HKBU programme(s) as your JUPAS Band A choice(s); and
-
have met/are going to meet the University's and the Programme's admission requirements of your Band A choices.

JUPAS website.
Interview Arrangements
Interviews for the Self Recommendation Scheme will be held in mid June. Applicants who are selected for interview will receive an SMS message and an email notification with interview details around the first week of June.
For verification purposes, when attending the interview, applicants are requested to produce original copies of supporting documents for the awards/achievements/services, stated in their Self Recommendation Portfolio.
Please note that only applicants who have made outstanding achievements in non-academic areas will be selected for interview.
Assessment of Self Recommendation
SRS score will be computed based on the applicant's non-academic achievements and JUPAS Band A programme choices. Favourable consideration will be given to applicants only if the HKBU programmes remain as Band A choices after reprioritization of choices made in July.
For programmes that are placed as Band A choices after final reprioritization, the departments concerned will decide whether Self-recommendation will be considered.
In addition to non-academic achievements, applicants are required to fulfill the minimum University and Programme admission requirements to be considered for admission. Please note that all admissions are competitive and that meeting minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission.
Announcement of Self Recommendation Results
The final decision on admission will be announced together with the result of the JUPAS Main Round exercise. No separate notification will be sent to individual applicants.
