Tuition Fees
The tuition fees for
full-time undergraduate degree programmes for the 2013-2014 academic year are HK$42,100 (US$5,397) for local students and HK$110,000
* (US$14,103
*) for non-local students
# per annum respectively.
Fees are to be paid in two equal instalments, normally before the first and second semesters.
For
newly enrolled undergraduate students, HK$10,000 (US$1,282) first instalment plus some fees must be paid by the applicants on acceptance of their admission offer and the balance must be paid in November.
The cost of studying at the University as an
international (non-local) student is approximately HK$148,100 (US$18,988) per year for government-funded programmes, including tuition fees, hall residence and daily expenses. The details are as follows.

# Non-local students are persons entering Hong Kong for the purpose of education with a student visa/entry permit issued by the Director of Immigration. Applicants on work visas/under IANG and persons on dependent visas are considered "non-local".
^ The assignment to different types of rooms such as 2 or 3-person rooms is subject to availability in the Undergraduate Halls.
