Students will automatically be
registered on courses which are required by their programme of study. The class
timetable of the required courses will be released on
August 11 (around 2:00 p.m.) via the
University
Information System (UIS).
According
to the study schedule of your study programme or the study plan worked out for
you by your department, you may have to take elective course(s) (e.g. Physical
Education course, Values and Meaning of Life, etc), in Semester 1, 2011-12.
In this connection, please add the elective course(s) via
UIS
during the timeslot(s) printed on your 'Schedule of University Life, Orientation
and Course Registration'.
Students
have to check the class timetable and the relevant course information in UIS before completing the registration procedures.
To
complete your course registration, please login to the
UIS,
select 'Course Add/Drop' under 'Study'. You can then select and enroll on your elective courses using
these add/drop functions. A demonstration
file on add/drop functions is available in
UIS
for your information.
For students who wish to change their course enrolment after August 15 and 16, they may do so during the Course add/drop period from September 2 to 16, 2011.
Please
note that on-line course registration is on a first-come-first-served basis.
If you fail to complete the Course registration procedures during the
assigned timeslot(s), you can only do so during the Course add/drop period.
